About

Owner-operated, detail-obsessed, and named after the crew that supervises every estimate.

Timber & Tails Construction is run by Brandon, based in Châteauguay and serving Montréal’s South Shore. Before construction, Brandon spent years running technology at a fintech company — a background where “close enough” doesn’t exist and every decision gets documented. He builds the same way.

Build it once, build it right

That’s the operating philosophy, and it shows up in unglamorous ways: proper prep before finishes, materials chosen for the next twenty years instead of the next photo, and a written scope for every job so both of us know exactly what “done” means. Durability and maintainability beat quick hacks — future-you shouldn’t be cursing present-us.

Why “Timber & Tails”?

Two sides of the same work. Timber is the craft — materials, structure, and building things meant to last. Tails is the character behind it — loyalty, trust, and the belief that a home is built for the whole family, four-legged members included.

Put together, it’s the promise the whole business runs on: careful work you can count on, from someone who treats your house like it matters. Craftsmanship, loyalty, home.

How we work

  • Straight answers. If something can’t be done well within your budget, you’ll hear that at the walk-through, not at the invoice.
  • Written scope, always. The proposal reads in plain language, phase by phase. Exclusions are listed, not discovered.
  • Clean sites. Tools packed, debris gone, floors swept. Every day, not just the last one.
  • Same-day surprises. Old houses hide things. When one turns up, you get a call, a photo, and options — the same day.
